Hillary Clinton's Hyperbole 2008(c) campaign has recently compared not counting the Florida primary results to the election in Zimbabwe.  Reports CBS News:

"We're seeing that right now in Zimbabwe," Clinton explained. "Tragically, an election was held, the president lost, they refused to abide by the will of the people," Clinton told the crowd of senior citizens at a retirement community in south Florida.

Now, as ridiculous as that comparison may be -- and I think it's pretty silly -- are there any points of resemblance between the Florida and Michigan primaries and elections in developing countries?

Britney Spears has just issued the following statement:

Hey y'all! I bet you know what I'm feeling.  I tell you, I'm so psyched I got my kids back, even if it is only kinda sorta part-time.  And now that Kevin and I are havin' phone sex and all, I can quit going to the Quik-E Mart in my underwear to get my smokes and Red Bull.  I can ask Kevin to send a carton and a case with the kids!  I bet he'll remember to belt 'em in (the kids I mean)

The flap over Hillary's RFK comment has obscured a bit of fact-fudging that immediately preceded it.  Here is what she said:

My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right?

As others have pointed out, this is not the first time she's referred to Robert Kennedy's assassination.  And at least once previously, she bundled it with the same reference to 1992:

My husband didn't wrap up the nomination in 1992 until June. Having a primary contest go through June is nothing particularly unusual.

But is that true?

Barack Obama did not ship your job to Mexico.
Barack Obama did not write your sermons.
Barack Obama did not deny your habeas corpus.
Barack Obama did not cast your primary vote
and Barack Obama did not dismiss your primary vote.
Barack Obama did not raise your interest rates.
